HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LOVE
Amidst all the chaos going on right now, I just wanted to tell my wonderful wife and best friend, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! I won't call out her age because I don't know at what point woman stop adding years and when they start subtracting. Babe, I love you and can't believe we've been married for 5 years and you're only 24...oops! You've grown so much from the first time I met you. You've gone from a "Utah" only girl who wouldn't eat fish, didn't know how to cook meat to a SoCal girl, fish eating (and many more different foods), Tijuana visiting, chef and MOM! I love to see you and Mason sitting on the floor reading a book or playing with his toys when I come home from work. Mason and I are both lucky to have you. I hope this day is a special and wonderful one for you, because you deserve it. I love you babe.

The Getty
Last weekend we went to see The Getty Museum with some friends. It was very beautiful! Lots of very neat artwork, sculptures, photography & paintings.... did I understand all of them? No. Nonetheless they were very cool to see:) It also had an extraordinary garden in the center {that was my favorite} Enjoy-

My BiRtHdAy is this Sunday so on Wednesday Seth took me to see this {Below} at my favorite Pantages Theater! It was an AWSOME show. Johnny Castle (Patrick's Character) was actually my last favorite... but then again who could fill those shoes? But "Baby" was amazing, seriously was a exact replica of the movie verison. It was done very classy and I very much enjoyed our night out.... Seth's birthday is July 3rd, just five days after mine and I've been working very hard on his present, hopefully it's as good as this night. Thanks babe!

Marlee Rhetta Tanner
Today my beautiful sister {Jaymee} gave birth (by a C-section) to her second beautiful healthy girl!!! MARLEE RHETTA. I was in tears all morning because I missed it. I was able to be in the room with her first... which she just so happen to name after me (I'm one lucky aunt)... I tried to talk her into going to Lacey again for a middle name but there was no go.. ha ha. There's not many things in Jaymee's life that I have missed... I've flown home for her bridal shower, wedding, baby shower, Amaiya's birth and I would have been there for this too however I fly home next week (she originally wasn't due til next month so I thought I was safe) and I couldn't change my ticket with what's going on so I sat here and cried. Jaymee is my best friend and I cry even as I write this because she's going through something major right now and I'm SO far away. I LOVE YOU SISTER AND I WILL BE THERE OH SO SOON!!!! I'm so so so so happy for her, Todd and Amaiya to have a beautiful new addition to their family. As soon as I get a picture of their new beauty I'll post it on here:) I LOVE YOU Miss Marlee Rhetta, I'll be there soon:)

San Francisco
My sister has almost given up on waiting for our San Fran pictures... but no worries Jam, their finally here:)
San Francisco was a blast. A family friend has a second home there and I spent many summers growing up visiting this amazing place. This is where I fell in love with watching Theater!!! It's been 6 yrs since I've been there and it was SO much fun to take my own family there and have such a memorable place to stay. This relaxing weekend was very needed, there's alot going on right now in our life and a weekend away got our minds to completely STOP and enjoy each other for four whole days. It was awsome!!! We raced around everywhere, ate delicious food, got bagels from my favorite bagel store, went to the ocean, took pictures, toured Alcatraz, shopped at Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square, walked around China Town, drove down Lombard St and spent our Sunday in at the Golden Gate National Park {BEAUTIFUL} Mase was such a trooper and went a hundred miles a minute right along with us... He just napped in his stroller when he got tired. Vacation is VERY different with a little one but so memorable:) Sad to be back to reality.. ha ha

FIRST DAY: CHINA TOWN

LOMBARD ST

Walking down to Ghirardelli Square

DAY TWO.. It was so fun to go back here, it's been a lot of years and they've even changed the tour a little

Me & my lil buddy
On our boat over to Alcatraz.. aren't they cute:)

Mason's first carousel ride... he wasn't to sure at first then he started "ooooo-ing" so funny

Best produce EVER
Such a fun time at the beach... yes we live by the beach but this was the first time we actually got his feet in... it was a little cold- :)

Where we stayed- Thanks Cooks:)
Golden Gate Park- this was three minutes from the house... I wish I had this in my back yard, it was even more incredible than I remember!
Gotta have the lame kissy one;)
So funny, this leaf fell right in Mase's lap from the tree and he thought he was so sneaky trying to eat it.....
thinking it was a bit dirty I tried to take it away and he was NOT having it
Little sweet potato break... yes that's a thanksgiving bib
Our last night {Golden Gate Bridge Behind Us}
We decided to drive over the bridge just for fun on our last night and as we drive our we see all of these little silouttes on the ledge and we think how great it would be to get there because of the great view you'd have of the bridge for photo's. We find our way up there and there's like 20 photographers with their tripods all set up and seemed to be waiting for something. I grab my tripod and camera and decide to set up too. I start snapping and realize no one else is... I wonder what their waiting for since we're losing light FAST.. then one photographer says... after all these years I'm gonna be able to shoot it. About two minutes later the most UNBELIEVABLE red moon comes up just behind the city horizion. Clicks from every direction just started going like crazy. I got goosebumps. I quickly adjusted my camera, got my remote out and focused in and starting shooting. I was so lucky to have brought my tripod and remote of I would have never been able to get these shots... it was almost 9:30 pm, cold, windy and very dark.. it felt so cool to be in the right place at the right time. I was one lucky girl.
