House Warming/Mase's Birthday Party

We did Mason's first birthday and a little house warming party all in one... We had a party on Saturday and Sunday one for each side of our families... well because their just getting so darn big I didn't think we could all fit in the house at the same time:) ha ha- We were blessed to have Mason's Minnie come to the Saturday one and the {B} family which we just adore join us for the Sunday one. The Lord continues to bless us, it was truly just one big family celebrating Mase! So many of his cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and close friends were able to come! It was such an amazing time we thank everybody for celebrating his first year. We only invited family and one set of close friends and we still had 25 at each party. CRAZY! I guess that just shows how loved our little man is. Again, thank you everybody for making the trip! One thing I am HoRrIAbLe at is taking pictures at large events that I'm in charge of... so I was more than thankful with my mom and sister in law grabbed the camera and took some shots for me at both parties:) Mase had a GREAT time, he just loved the party! Seriously I didn't think he'd really get the present thing, still being only one. At the first party he was a little overwhelmed but on Saturday when everybody was clapping for him and cheering him on he thought it was the coolest thing ever! Apparently he warmed up to the idea of getting new shiny things- The whole eating the cupcake was so cute {as I'm sure every mother thinks on their kids 1st birthday} My sister made darling cupcakes for the party and Mason's had special sprinkles on them and well he decided to pick at them one by one at first... again focus's on the details. Eventually he plowed in and had the time of his life. It was more than a dream come to a birthday party for {OUR} kid... who would have ever thought he'd finally come :)

{I didn't have the time to edit hardly any of these photo's -SORRY-}

Welcome to our humble abode:)

I've gotten many request for photo's of our new home so now that we've moved in, unpacked, gotten through both of Mason's {1st} birthday parties... Here they are. Welcome to our Home:)
I'm absolutely in LoVe! I never imagined we'd find a place like this in our price range. The yard is what truly sold me... I walked back there before even going in the house.. I knew it was going to be special:) I've missed a yard almost more than anything else... in Cali I had nothing that even resembled a yard (we were all mashed too close together), I've dreamed of a lawn to mow and actually room for Mason to play... so now we have that and we are SO grateful! We had two neighbors come over within the first three days of unpacking... I cried after the first one came. Can we say, NERD! I know, but I couldn't help it. A sweet old lady came over with homemade warm treats and introduced herself and told us if we ever need anything she was just across the street.... Oh the tears.. It felt like something in a movie. I lived in Cali for four yrs and still to this day don't know who lived next store. It was just that moment that made it feel like home. Then another came... I didn't know what to do with myself- ha ha! I realize neighbors coming over are probably very normal for most people but it was very new and neat for us:) We have been so blessed throughout this whole move. We had wards on all ends Cali, Provo and Spanish Fork show up in huge numbers and get done what needed to be done. Family watching Mason whenever we needed it. We simply could not have done this move with Seth's mom VV! Everyone has been such a blessing- Thank you family and friends:) okay okay, here are the pics- Enjoy*
