Girls Night Out

Last night me and some friends ventured out and saw the midnight showing of Eclipse.  Lisa had great hook ups and planned out such a fun night for us!  A friend in her ward rented out an entire theather at Provo Town Center and also the Trolley Cafe in Springville.  The they decked out the whole resturant and only allowed a certain amount of people in and we were able to reserve our seats at the theather since we went through who reserved it, so we had no waiting in line.  It was genius! It was such a fun night not to mention great movie. I laugh at myself with how much I love this story... me and every other person in American, but it's not like me to get wrapped up into something like this but I am and I thoroughly enjoyed our completely cheesey night! I always have such a fun time with these friends, we all have something so important in common and that's our beautiful adopted kiddos:)  The movie was the best made yet, however I still liked the second better just because it was all about JACOB! Yes Team Jacob all the way my friends!

CCRRRAZY

THINGS HAVE BEEN NUTS!  MY COMPUTER CRASHED (right in the middle of editing a shoot) WHICH STARTED THE LOVELY PROCESS OF BUYING THEN EXCHANGING NOT ONLY ONE BUT two COMPUTERS , MY WASHER BROKE AND WHILE DOING SO FLOODED MY LAUNDRY ROOM, MY INTERNET WENT DOWN, THEN MY TV WENT SIGNAL THING WENT OUT, AND FATHER'S DAY ENDED WITH A 4 1/2 HOUR TRIP TO THE HOSPTIAL WITH AIDEN, no fun!..... AH! SO TO SAY THE LEAST IT'S BEEN CRRRAAZY!  HOWEVER THERE'S ALSO BEEN MOMENTS LIKE THESE.... {below:}

Mason is totally started to be interested in Aiden. He climbs in his mat to play with him, is totally concerned when he's crying and loves to help me burp him.  It's a little crazy having them so close however it's already paying off:) Look how cute they are together!!!

Hmmm, I wonder what Seth is passing on to his boys:)  Maybe his infamous basketball shorts and t-shirt?!?!

HaPpY FaThEr'S dAy

Seth My Dear, I hope I have expressed today how much of a gem I think you are! Not only am I blessed to have you as my husband, I am lucky enough to have you as the father of my children.  Fatherhood isn't something everybody decides to take on... some do it whole heartedly and some walk away.  You my love go above and beyond. You love your boys more than I than I knew existed. Not growing up with a father I didn't know quite what to expect concerning that relationship... I do know what I did expect was blown out of the water the day we brought Mason home. You took on fatherhood with everything inside of you. One of our son's father passed away and the other one's walked away. Both very sad.  You are the sole person they will ever have in that role. I think... I know you are exactly who they need and what they will need the entire span of their life. I am certain God gave them you for a reason. I have never seen a little boys eyes light up the way Mason's do when you walk in the room. He adore's you as much as one can adore another. When Aiden cried endlessly for those few weeks and I would cry in exhaustion you would hunker down and get through it with him.  You love them. I love you for that. Thank you for showing me how amazing the role of fatherhood can be played. When {D} told us she was placing her son so he would have a father, my first thought was "you have no idea how amazing the one is you just chose for him"   YOU SIMPLY ARE THE BEST!

Today we also honor Chase, Mason birthfather who passed away just hours after he was born so unforunately no one us were able to meet him however we've been blessed to get to know him through his family and learn of the deep love he had for Mason already.  We know that Chase is Mase's quardian angel on the other side and for that we are so grateful:)

Splash Park/Dinosaur Museum

Last week we meet up with my sisters & mom and took all the kiddos to the Dinosaur Museum and Splash Park.  It was hard to keep Mason from breaking things in the Dinosaur place but he had the time of his life at the splash park. When all the other kids were taking breaks Mason was still full on in the water. After three hours straight we finally had to pull him out to warm him up... (the water wasn't heated and his skin was icey... he still didn't want to get out but oh well:)  These pictures do not do Mason and the fun time he had justice.. then again I rarely catch Mason in action:) Aiden just chilled under the umbrella with Mars or hung out with me:)

I forgot my camera so I stole this from my mama! 

Oh and yes he looks like a pioneer little boy in his bloomer swim shorts, not to worry he doesn't have a swimming suit however his cousin Rylee forgot her and she was she having a break down so we gave her Mason's swim shorts and swim shirt... he didn't know the difference;)

I didn't think this day would ever come... When I downloaded these images off my camera last weekend my computer COMPLETLEY & UTTERLY crashed on me... So after lots of tears, frustration, prayers & money here is this amazing couple... i think it was all worth it :)! Click HERE to see more:)

Our First Family Photo Shoot

So I had this vision of a family shoot I wanted to do. I already knew in my mind how I wanted to edited these pictures... only thing is I can't really take our own family photo... well I can with my tripod and remote however I have a lovely sister in law who has a love for photography too so before she moves away I asked her to take some shots for us. She was so good to try and follow 'my vision' when I couldn't find an example to show her. She did great and I was able to edit them just how I pictured.  I love how they turned out. THANK YOU SO MUCH SAR! I know it's not a fancy, cool location but Aiden is still so little I wanted a comfortable, candid, safe, warm shoot for his first one.  I wanted it somewhere that's familiar and that's Seth & I's bed... we spend a lot of mornings snuggling and reading books there:) Yes, I'm certainly out numbered in these pictures, being the only girl but I sure LOVE my boys!

{Memorial Day}

On Memorial Day we had the pleasure of hosting a BBQ @ our home. We had  A LOT of people come, Seth's family, Grandma & Pa McVea, Lael's and Emily boyfriends & Jay a friend of the McVea's, it went so well and we all had so much fun. Everyone helped with food, we spent hours playing, talking, laughing & learing how to dance (more pics to come later, some of them were on Sar's camera:).  This was a good day for the McVea family we were celebrating for many many reasons: CL's retirement, Aiden's Arrival, Emily's graduation from High School & making ballroom and BYU, Josh getting accepted into his program and moving up to Idaho, Lael graduating from college, Melissa completing her first year teaching, Seth starting his Masters & his new job @ Provo High School, Brian graduating medical school and getting into his 2nd choice residency program, The Evans Family moving and starting their next journey in Michigan & last but not least VV and CL's Mission! Whew! Yes all those things are happing THIS SUMMER for our family. Alot of them include people moving away which is very sad but we're so proud and excited for everyone to start their new journey's.  We REALLY enjoyed our last day (for a while) all together:) Thank you everyone for coming!
