Family Photo's

Family Pictures 2012

This is the first year I've ever not taken my own pictures with a tripod and remote. I did a session trade with a photographer friend and I'm afraid she got the bad end of the deal. AIDEN WAS HORRIBLE! Like from the moment we started he decided that he was not going to make this easy. She took over 700 photo's and these are the only ones that even kind of worked out! I was devastated during the shoot, I was going to kill Aiden... all this planning down the drain.. Then my sweet friend found some stray cat and was trying to coax it over to make my boys smile and the whole thing just got us laughing and I just got over it. There just pictures!  We got one to frame and that totally works!

I love these people in these photos. They are my whole word. Seth is my best friend, my boys make me laugh harder than anyone on earth and my daughter melts my heart... each of them have added a piece to my heart, each of them are irreplaceable and each of them reminds me I'm far too blessed for my own good!

I love my family!

Potty Training

Big Boy Now

This was on the 1st day of potty training!

About a month ago we decided to take the plunge and start potty training the little man, he's 2 1/2 and that's when we did Mason so we started with Aid.  We did the chart, sticker, candy, prizes...etc... however it seemed to take a lot longer with Aiden, then Mason, but cookie tells me "oh no Mason was just as frustrating you just don't remember" .... I believe that. Two things that Mason didn't do is spilt his chin open falling off the toilet, ending in a after hours doctor appt and then days later smearing POOP all of my entertainment center...which Aiden managed to do both... ugh!  I guess that's life right!

He's doing a little better now and I think it's clicking and I still LOVE him so we're good:)

In all seriousness we're so proud of him! Learning to be a big boy can be a tough thing. But he is doing so good and after he goes pee or poop in the toilet he says "see mom, I make you happy" Such a cute kid. I love him!

Turkey Day

THANKSGIVING

This thanksgiving was SO amazing! Seth's parents were home from their mission and his sister and  her family, as well as his brother and his wife from out of state were in town so we did Thanksgiving a day early with them! It was fun to have almost everyone there (we missed you Missy and Dave). It was a super causal day. We just hung out, chatted, ate and played games! I'm so blessed to have the in-laws I do. They are truly a second family:)

Then Thanksgiving morning, we visited with the Hobbins and then stopped to see Mason's Minne on the way down, then we were finally off to see my family! We literally pulled up as dinner was dinner served. I felt guilty eating all the amazing food and not being there for the preparation this year:( I did make some peanut butter bars for the non pie eaters though... me! The food was amazing and so was the company! I just love my Southern Utah family! They are the cousins I grew up closest too and well of course my mom! My sisters Jamie and Chel were able to make it down too so that always makes it super fun, especially for the kids to have one big massive sleepover in grandmas basement.  This year was no different. We spent the majority of our time outside, in Zions, boys night, girls day out, black Friday shopping, blizzards and of course some 4 wheeling:) It was an amazing weekend, one that was hard to end. I truly love, love, love my family! My sisters are my best friends and my kids adore their cousins!

Thanks for having us Ma!
Hope you got your house in one piece again...
