4th of July

On the 4th of July we decided to go out and spend it with my sister Jamie and her family in Layton. We went the Kaysville Parade which was SO VERY HOT! Holy stink it was HOT but the kids loved the parade and afterwards the boys took the babies home to sleep (cheaters... getting out of the heat) while we took the other kids to the little set of up blow up houses and games!

 

The kids do so well together and we had a great day! My favorite place to be in truly with my family! We went back to her house and had a BBQ!

 

It was a great 4th.

We are so blessed to be Americans and have the freedoms we do!

 

 

 

 

Birthday Boy

On July 3rd we celebrated my handsome husbands 33 birthday!

We took the boys to see the new Despicable Me movie, while Grandma VV watched Shay for us (not quite old enough to sit through a whole movie:)

 

Then we all went to this little dessert café in Orem called Chocolate! It was so good and it was so fun to have VV, Aunt Missy and Uncle Dave join us:)

We then came home and had a nice BBQ as a family!

 

This guy is one of a kind! I truly love him endlessly. It was weird celebrating his 33 birthday. I met him when he was 23 and every year has just gotten sweeter!

Golden Birthday

Weekend in Toquerville

 

The last weekend in June I had a photo shoot in Southern and since it was my birthday (28) weekend we decided to make a family trip out of it and go see my mom & Grandma GG! We also decided to take two of my nephews Brage & Teag down with us for fun!

It was SO bloody hot the weekend we were there. 116... 117 degree HOT! So we were dumb enough to try and  4-wheeler ride in the desert and after we lived through that we stuck to water activities basically the entire time:)

 

It was fun to spend my birthday with my mom. I don't think I've done that in years! I woke up to her making me my favorite French Toast just like she did for me when I was a kid. Not gonna to lie.. it teared me up a bit! I have the best mom!

 

As always my husband listened to something I had talked about that I had been wanting and got me just that! The running pants I've wanted for over a year! Sweet man, I've got:)

 

The weekend was hot, but so much fun. I truly love going to Southern Utah and being with family! It's become a favorite get-a-way for our little family.
