Game of the YEAR

UTAH VS BYU

Every year there comes a day where mine and Seth's marriage divides. That's of course when the Utes play the cougars! The day is generally good for me since we usually kick their butts:) This year my sweet friend Heidi invited us both to the game. However she had some pretty spiffy hook ups in the BYU Alumni pre-dinner and pre-game talks by the coaches and such. So I had to be respectful and spilt my choice of wardrobe for the evening. I put on my first stupid BYU shirt, it was depressing. I respected the activities we had pre-game which was actually pretty awesome but when we got to our seats I let me real colors show forth even though I was smack dab in the middle of cougar club seating! The people me and had fun joking around with my spilt:) It was such a fun night. I was with two of my favorite people!

Cascade Springs

In early October my mom came up for a visit and while Seth was at work we decided to drive up Provo Canyon to see the colors with the kids! We kept driving and ended up at Cascade Springs! It was a year and a half drive but it was beautiful and Cascade springs was so worth seeing. I can't believe I've never been up there. Well... as an adult, my mom said she brought us up here when I was a kid but I don't remember! It was so fun and the kids LOVED it! Shay has an obsession for leaves. We couldn't get two feet on the boardwalk without Shay having to stop and throw the leafs over into the water. The boys loved seeing a new place and I loved being with my mom, my children adore her and so do I:)

Halloween

Halloween

Lugi, Yoda & Tinker Bell... we're all across the map this year:)

This year we went with the same friends we do every Halloween, Jen & Heidi's Families. They our dearest friends and our kids are all really close! It was super chilly this year but the kids stayed warm running around.

The kids were so cute in the costumes this year. Aiden was a bit confused on who he was when we fist borrowed his costume but as soon as I saw Heidi had this I had to have him wear it in honor of his Tatie:) She's a star wars fan through and through! He surpriseingly wore the hat and as people would pass him they'd say "oh cool, he's yoda" he'd look up and me and grin and say "mom, everybody loves my Ooda:)"

Aiden was still a bit young to keep up but Seth would just take him up to the door once he finally got there! Mason kept up with the big kids and ran like crazy. And Shay, well we brought the stroller thinking she's too young to even understand... Well diva proved us wrong with a block she got the concept and start squealing to be brought up to the door. She would insist on holding her tinker bell wand and her bucket in the other hand with no help! She was so stinkin cute! She was not about to be left out!
