Beautiful Souls are Never Forgotten

As Billyum's one year approached, I imagined it was going to be tough. I decided to jump on a plane to spend it with Cookie and other's who know & loved him like I did.

Branson, Missouri

The Jordan's invited us to go with them to Branson, MI. We had never even heard of it but turns out it's quite the little vacation spot! We love exploring new places so away we went! 

The kids did great on the 9-10 hour drive and we were able to see some beautiful country on our way through. Who knew Arkansas was so pretty!

We were there for a whole week and found all sorts of fun things to do.

 We rented a boat and spent a day on the lake, went go-karting, Seth & I went to an Illusionist show, we took the kids to the famous Dixie Stampede (dinner and show), an awesome 4th of July firework show, found an amazing little amish store with such yummy treats, we tried to go to the Fish hatchery   but it was closed so we just walked along the beautiful river, went to a water park, us girls even got to get a mani & pedi's.

It was such an incredibly fun vacation for us. We adore the Jordan's company and we so happy to spend this time with them. It was such a relaxing week as a family.  I was recently told that family vacations are children's anchor to happiness in childhood. I loved it and totally believe it! It's so good for all of us.
