Christmas w/ the McVea's

This year we had an early Christmas with the McVea's since we all had plans to go with our 'other' side of the family this year!  We weren't going to do it until this weekend but Seth's sister Sarah and her family were in town from Michigan so we took advantage of that and had it a week early:) It was a PACKED house but it was so fun to have (almost) everyone together. We had a Christmas morning, made ginerbread houses, watched movies & went shopping.  Oooh man and I made a reciepe from pinterest BAKED FRENCH TOAST!!!! A-MAZING people! Not one reciepe from pinterest has let me down. I'm loving that site just for that:)

 

my family

To say i love my family doesn't even come close... they are my happy! they mean the world to me and when the pressures are bearing down they are who pulls me through. I honestly love being in a family, i love being a mom and a wife, it's not always easy but I know I'm meant to be where I am, right now. I wouldn't trade it for any other timeline or story! I will forever choose this and these people. 

Family Christmas Party

Every year we have a family get together in early december to do some fun christmas stuff with the kiddos:) This year we went to my sister chels, had an awsome dinner, had the kids write letters to Santa, went to see the lights at Thanksgiving point on Uncle Jesse flat bed trailer (the kids LOVED that part) and the came back and had a hot coco bar:)  It was seriously FREEZING when we were out seeing the lights but Mason seriously thought it was the coolest thing in the world and entertained the whole trailer, haha, so it was worth it!  Thanks for putting it together Chelly!

Girls Night

Last month me and some of my friends went to see an 11 o'clock showing of Twilight (.. or whatever one the actual book/movie was... i just call them all twilight:) We made a whole a night of it, dinner, shopping, pedi's, Red Mango (so so so SO good) and eventually 11 o'clock rolled around and we headed to the theather! I always have so much fun with these ladies, they are some of my dearest friends:) the movie was shabby either!
