Great to be 8

How I have a child old enough to buy an official suit for and take great to be 8 photo's is beyond me!
Mason is growing up so fast.  It's been so neat to talk with him about baptism and also watch him get older and see his testimony start to form. I truly love being his mom!

Mason's 8th Birthday Party

PARTY TIME

One week from today my oldest turns 8. I can't think of a better way to prepare for that big birthday then by having his first real friend party! It hasn't been easy for him to feel an abundance of happiness this last year but tonight he smiled from ear to ear. On the way home from the party he literally got emotional and could find works other then squeezing his eyes shut and saying "I just feel so happy!" My heart overflowed!

Lost & Found

Sometimes there are moments in life that you can feel impact your heart in a way they'll never be forgotten. That was this visit from Cookie and Bill while we lived in Oregon just months before Billyum passed away. We knew the end was near, he was already so much sicker than he was letting on. This trip was invaluable time. Every photo I took I felt my mind and heart capture the frame. It was literally burned into my mind. That's why when my phone fell from my lap just days after they left which completely broke my phone and lost every single picture was absolutely devastating. I was so sick about it. I tried taking it in and the screen wouldn't work so they said there was nothing they could do. I kept the phone in a drawer because I could not throw it away knowing the images it held inside. Bill was gone now and that was all I had left. Fast forward to our move to Oregon I met sweet friends where the computer happens to be a computer genius who offered to help me with my troubled desk top. I had a thought pop in my head after receiving my computer all fixed... MY PHONE.... maybe just maybe... it's worth it to at least ask. A week later Blake Brady showed up on my doorstep with a picture of me and Bill FROM MY PHONE printed out in his hands. The emotions I felt flood my body is nothing I can describe. He had done it, he recovered those images that were burned into my heart. I will forever, forever be grateful.
