Our Beautiful Creation-Strawberry Tart

Um, Ya! We made this! It was so pretty I didn't want to eat it... Well I shouldn't have it was gross! Seth loved it however I failed to remember I hate cream cheese and that's what was in the cream. It just looked so pretty (Cookie, it's the one we were going to make when I was in town). It was quite the disappointment after 2 hours of mixing, freezing, laying, baking, then chiling... only to gag! Seth's enjoyed the whole thing to himself. Oh well!

Okay, so Ebby doesn't have a lot hair... however she always wants me to put clips or bows in her hair and it won't ever stay. So one day I got some of my scrapbook ribbion and stuck it onto her head... I know it look's hilarous but she loved it! She looked in the mirror all day and kept pointing to it... Her mom just died laughing when she saw it.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you all know.... Seth is HOME! Yahoo! I'm sleeping much better. However I'll have you know I got through it just fine... I even got to where I could sleep with the lights off... I know... AMAZING

Stronger then me

I just want to say I give all of you my friends and family props if your husband travels for work!!! I would also like to add... I don't envy you one bit. I'm getting a small taste of it this week. Seth went to Florida for work and we don't know when he'll be coming home... one week, two weeks, who knows? I'm a such a baby... I get so nervous at night. I've truly had to hand this over to the Lord. What a blessing faith is... I just have to keep thinking.. 'your faith shines brightest in the dark' (I think that's the saying) anyway it apply's to me quite literally. I miss having dinner with him and it's times like this when I really wish family was around. My family and my friend Teesha have been so good to call and check up on me... It's funny, they all do their rounds. I'm so grateful for them. I got to thinking about it and so many people I know have this 'traveling husband' thing as a part of their normal lives.... our friends in the military here, my sister's husband is in Iraq and my other sister's husband travel Mon-Thrus for construction every week. I must say your all stronger then me and my prayers are with each of you...

One weekend down on the port in San Pedro, they docked a bunch of 18th century ships that we were able to tour before the contined on down the coast to be permently docked.

This is on the trail of a very cool hike along the coast, it goes up right

through the Trump golf course.

This is one our favorite places, it's about 5 mins from our home. It's right off the coast with a bunch rocks to play on and tide pools to explore.

Crawdad Fishin' @ Strawberry Lake

This trip up to the lake was my first in fishing for crawdads (which is a mcvea tradition) I even bought a fishing license for the day so I could join in... Yeah Right! We got there and I was getting ready then Seth showed me his first catch and I saw what they actually looked like and I almost died. Their mini lobster things... I screamed, put my shoes back on and sat down and watched. I didn't care to fit in on that activity.... No way was anyone getting me in that water so they could eat my feet.

Seth tried ALL day to catch a fish & he had no such luck... I don't think anyone did, other then with the craw fish nets.
