The Man of The House

There has been so much 'work and no play' on this blog for the past couple weeks so I thought I'd give you an update on the little man. He is GROWING like crazy! He started to take steps and fall, then get a little more confident all week, then woke up on Thanksgiving and decided he could do it: corners, into other other rooms.. all of it. It so cool to watch. He's such a stud. He just had his check up and he's right where he's supposed to be with everything:) He is still a happy baby, although now it's a happy kid with a wee bit of an attitude sometimes, ha ha. Everywhere we goes he charms the ladies, it's seriously a talent of his, i bet when he's with Seth, it looks like Sethy has taught him that to attract the ladies. No joke, he smiles, laughs, tilts his head, bats his eyelashes and gives a sly grin. This lady almost couldn't handle it at Macey's yesterday she asked if she could take him home. ha ha. Love my boy! I just laughed and said I worked too hard for him, she said "you'd have to, to get one as cute as that:)" ooooh! Anyway he's doing awsome, he's now a full blown toddler and were enjoying this new stage with him~

On thanksgiving I had Mason's bag in his room all ready to head to t-ville the next day and this is what I find when i go in there to check on him.... guess he was excited and ready to go:)

Mase driving with daddy. (don't panic, we were in toquerville and it doesn't get anymore 'backroad' than that, ha ha. plus we were going like 4 mph & we went like a block home from church) He thought it was the coolest thing. He was freaking out, it was SO funny!

(he thought it was so funny when I would squirt him with his little bath toy)
LOVES HIS BATH. He'll hear the water from another room and come speed in and bang on the bathtub until I lift him in:)
Eating a cracker! Gross I know, but still stinkin cute:)

I just have to respond to how h-weet (don't worry your not supposed to understand that but Seth will:) my hubby is . I got a comment in my inbox from my mother-in-law that made no sense. It was referring to a "Sweet Nothings" post. I was really confused so I clicked on the link and well the flood gates opened. I'm pretty sure I have the best guy around. I know he's not perfect but he's truly perfect for me. I'm convinced he was made for me. I adore him. He is right, he's not a vocal person so when he writes something like that it takes my breath away. What can I say... he's my one and only~ Thank you for lifting my spirits in the greatest way my love

Sweet Nothings

So, I'm hijacking...(I hope "big brother" isn't monitoring this site. I'll go home to the FBI and Homeland Security on my front door step for saying the "H" word) my wife's blog to just tell her how amazing she is. Anyone who knows Lacey, knows that. I know it, I just don't say it a lot. So, Lacey, you are the best. I'll try not to embarass you too much. You are the best mom to Mason. I don't know if it's possible but I think you might love him more than if he was biologically ours. The way you play with him, love him, worry about him and the countless hours you spend to make sure he gets the right food, the play time, the story time...you are amazing. You're an amazing sister, friend, and aunt. This career change/life change was sooooo worth it to see you spend a weekend with your sisters and not have to hop on a plane to do so. To see you get all emotional because Mason is playing with his cousins and knowing the next time they'll play will be next week...instead of 6 months. Your willingness to drop anything to help your sisters when they need an extra hand, or a shoulder to lean on. You are the best wife and friend I ever dreamed of. I love the journey we've been on...well, 5 1/2 years may only be considered a trip at this point...but either way, the time we've spent together, the adventures we had as just a couple (Summer internship living in school dorms next to Compton, Rusty, car chases through our neighborhood, drive by shootings 1 1/2 blocks away, Catalina Island (helicopter rides), San Francisco, San Diego (Sea World), Tijuana ;) Bonfires and bbq's on the beach, Camping w/ cell phone reception, Dance classes, and on and on and on. I've loved every minute of my time with you and will forever and ever. I will forever be gratefull for you and your strength through the tough times. You are an excellent friend, mom, and wife because of it. I love you!
