HaLlOWeEn

Halloween is SOO much funner now that we have kiddos... I love dressing them up and seeing Mason get into more every year.  We borrowed both of their costumes and they worked out perfectly.  What made it even more fun is we had a fun house all of halloween weekend.  Seth's parent are on a mission so my house has become the meeting ground for all the siblings, so when the college girls and their lovely boyfriends need some family time or a good meal they head on over! :)  We got all of them all weekend! It was so fun! It just reminds us of why we moved home.. it be close to family. it's so worth it. They are SOOO good with the boys.  We made carmel apples, ate pizza, watched movies, went to Mike and Lael's half marathon (that gets a post for itself:), went to the ward party and totally got stuck under a neighbors porch while trick or treating (see pictures below) the weather was totally a bummer but we made do. We got to go with Mason's little best friend Linc and they were hilarious, instead of saying trick or treat they would try to bypass the person and go in there house... it was so funny.. and maybe a bit scary.  Good thing we only took them to houses where we knew the people:) Hope you all had a great halloween!

{first picture taken with my point and shoot... have i ever mention how much i dislike point and shoot like.. that of am embarrassed that i can fully work an SLR but can't get a get shot with a point and shoot to save my life, haha)

Gangs All Here

Mason has started to become very attached to his "friends"

I can't get him up from a nap without him wanting to bring all of his friends along

Recently he has INSISTED they that join us for breakfast too

he decided to share with his horse

Simple things just make my day sometimes

I adore him

{6 months}

Aiden,
Today you are {6} months old! Crazy! You have brought so much joy into our lives. We are just THREE weeks away from going to court and legalizing your place in our family, then a few days later you get to be sealed our family and then blessed by your father the next day. As neat as court is we feel like it's just a formality of the process, you are already ours! The sealing that we experienced with your brother was similar to that of our marriage sealing, sacred, intimate and something you can't express adequately enough with words... we feel blessed to be able to soon experience that with you as well. You came to our family very quick, with very little notice. To be honest, when we brought you home, my head spun a little. It wasn't very long before I fell absolutely in love with you, your smile, your spirit and the overwhelming strong sense that you were meant to be a member of this family. I'm so glad your here!  You are jabbering a million miles a minute... and somehow louder when your brother's sleeping, I think you do that just so I dance around trying to make you stop so you don't wake him up, haha. You are rolling over like CRAZY, you can get anywhere you want in the room so scooting and rolling.  You are still so happy! The #1 most common thing we hear from people about you is "Is he always this happy?"  And YES you are... unless your hungery or tired:)  You are such smiley baby. You love to be held and cuddled.  AND YOU GOT YOUR FIRST TOOTH THIS WEEK!!!!  You are taking after your brother to be one handsome little man.........
As you approached six months you started to do some very fun things...

eating solids and rice cereal is one of them
if i don't go fast enough you help me "hurry"

Your brother thought he'd teach you how to crawl...
 & surprisingly you have picked it up rather quickly and showed up on halloween that you are almost ready to go!

Aiden we could not love you more....

Your daddy loves you
I love you
And your brother loves you...
We are so excited your apart of our crazy family:)

{Pumpkin Patch}

Halloween Photo's coming soon.... but first things first, which was the pumpkin patch! So fun! The boys had a blast... okay mason did, aiden still dosen't really get it... haha. Maybe next year:)

 We decided to snap some pictures in the front yard before we left... didn't last long. Mason was NOT in the mood:) this is the only one we got with him not yelling at us, haha

{Mason's Birthday Party}

This year Mason's birthday was on a Thursday and he looked like this....

...SAD:(...
(it went through the WHOLE family. NOT FUN)

So we did his party on Saturday.  It turned out to be such a fun day. They decorated Halloween cookies, ate pizza, hit a pinata and then opened presents.  We had such awsome support.  It was a little different then last years which was combined with our house warming party so we had two different birthday party's (long story) and about 30 people at each party, this year we just invited his cousins and his best friend Lincoln. It was perfect.  Mason had so much fun and all the little kiddos were great. It was weird day for me. He seemed SO big. He sat in a booster at the big table to decorate with the big kids and not in his high chair.  He needed NO help doing the pinata and he wanted to do pretty much everything own his own! Such a big boy! He's growing up and I am excited to see everything that he explores, learns and accomplishes. So although weird that he's getting old it was also such a neat day... it's a day that celebrates his birth...an event that changed my life. So I'm more that happy to celebrate him coming into this world:) Thanks to everybody who came and partied with Mase:)
