Our visit with Mason's Minnie
On our way down to my moms for Thanksgiving we stopped off the freeway in Cedar to meet with Mason's Minnie and her husband Andrew. We haven't seen them in a year because they live in Nevada, but they were in Cedar with his family for Thanksgiving so we stopped by. To be very honest, we've had a rough road with her. She is incredible, however her process of healing has been different then our other birthmoms, so it's affected our family in a little harder way... but our commitment to each other is there and we are working through it and are in a really good place right now. We love her more than words can say. She is the very person that made me a mother for the first time, that bond can never be broken. I have a connection with her that I don't have with anyone else on earth. Emotions get the best of us sometimes but we will always, always work it out!

And lucky for us her parents just happen to be intown the same day so we met with them in the morning before we took off down to Southern Utah. This was a pretty neat visit because we haven't seen them since Minnie's wedding 2 years ago, so it was a long overdue visit! They were great with the kids!
