My Ladies

"I think the reason we hold on so tight to something is because we fear something so great wont happen twice"

Deciding to move out of state was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had. I felt like I finally found my place. I had built a life I loved. I was surrounded by family, birth family, I had a great calling, my kids loved there school and I had these ladies.... I never knew I could be so comfortable with a group of women. I never knew I would have this good of friends in my life. Ones that totally got me. I generally hold back a little with people, for a long time at least but these ladies broke through that and have been more like sisters to me.  I fear that life won't be the same without them close!

Packing up

Whew!
Selling and packing up the house was sooo tough. Seth started his job a month and a half before we followed so I had A LOT to do on my own. I could not have done it with my ladies Heidi and Jen. they literally packed up half my house if not more! It was also a little emotional so I'm glad I had girlfriends there to laugh through it with me!

Early Christmas w/The McVea's

An evening full of gingerbread houses, homemade gifts, gratitude journals and lots of laughing. An early Christmas the McVea's was the perfect evening to set the Christmas spirit!

Special Day, Special Friend

Before we moved I got to attend of very special day for a very special friend of mine. THEIR TEMPLE SEALING!  Tara and her husband Neil are some of the most genuine people I've ever met. Somehow I got lucky enough to have them in my life. She introduced me to essential oils, we served together in the RS Presidency and she has been a 2nd mom to my kids. I have loved, loved, loved living around the block from her! I have never been able to count on someone more! I adore her!

Sweet Something

Anyone who knows me knows I love sentimental Jewelry. The red one is a few years old it's engraved with SOUL SISTERS on the inside from my sister Cass. The silver one is the newest to my collection. It's one of the most thoughtful gifts I've ever gotten. One of the dearest friends Jen gave it to me before moving to Oregon!

Saying goodbye to this pretty lady was no easier than the rest. She was one of my first friends in Spanish Fork. Our families meshed and so did our personalities from day one. I love this lady!

You know it's a rockin Santa when he has perfected the fist bump:)

Christmas at the River Bottoms

We had another tearful night of "see you laters" with yet another birth family we love dearly! The Jordan's have been so amazing to us. They are so good with all of our kids and have fit perfectly in our family. Since they live the closest to us we see them the most often. We will miss them so much!

We had such a fun time at the River bottoms in Provo.  The lights are awesome and the Santa there is so good with the kids. He even sang to Shay to get her calmed down:)

Adoption Family Christmas Party

These are some of my most favorite people!
We had our annual Christmas Party with our adoption family.
Oh man, these ladies are at the top of the list of who I'm going to miss the very most!

The Beginning of the Farewells

A week before we moved the Benson's came up and we were able to spend a whole day with them. They are family. We love them so much. We have really blended our lives with them the past 6 years. It will be so hard to be further away from them. The day was so fun, we laughed, cried and promised it was just see ya later!
