Hi everyone!

Amazing news..... On April 24th we got the call that we were chosen by a birth mom for adoption. It was beyond words for us. We could hardly speak. It just so happens that we're out of cell phone minutes this month (I know, our luck) so I ran down to my sweet friend Katy's who allowed me to use her phone to call my family. It's been quite the roller coaster the last couple of days. Yesterday we got a call from Gemma (our caseworker) saying that the birth mom Melissa had a 'gift' for us at the agency. We of course, ran down to pick it up. Once we were in the office Gemma started playing a song and handed us the lyrics that Melissa (birth mom) had so beautifully laminated for us to read while we listened to the song. It was the most emotional thing we've ever been through. It was so real. After the song, she played another one and handed us the book that comes with the CD, Michael McLean, "From God's Arms, To My Arms, To Yours..." with an inscription from Melissa reading....

YOUR BABY IS HERE!!! Bottles and booties... diapers and pins; this is where your love begins! Here is a book and a CD to go with my love for the both of you. Needless to say it was simply the most overwhelming thing we've ever felt. Our gratitude is overflowing and our love for Melissa and the Lord is so strong in our hearts. The support we have received from all of you is amazing and we would like to Thank You. We are so excited for this journey to take such an amazing turn. She is due October 15th! We will keep you updated along the way. We love you:)
