For Labor Day we decided to drive up to the Angeles National Forest and go shooting. Very much a day activity for Seth and Flynt but the girls decided to go along. Kristen is over a week due and she still came... miserable or not. She's such a trooper. We had a lot of fun. Anyone who knows me, knows I'm not crazy about guns...it's basically the #1 arguement in our marriage;) However, after 4 yrs, the realization that it's a HUGE passion for Seth has sunk in just a little. I wasn't half bad...well with the hand guns was a little more difficult, the stupid kick scared me everytime. I think I would close my eyes cause my aiming wasn't the best (I broke the frame that the target was being held up by, oops). But with the .22 I hit the center of the target almost every shot. So I was impressed with myself. Of course, the boys aimed at much further targets and got them so YES, they definitely showed me up. The best part was being in real mtns again... it was SO pretty. Thanks for coming Bailey's:)
Father and son think alike. With Lael home we were looking for something cool to do. Shooting and crawfishing was out because of the down pour we got here. You would of thought the hurricane hit Utah not LA. Shooting was in the options of things to do. I am with you Lacey on the gun issue. You're a good sport to give shooting a try.
Looks like fun. That brings back so many memories. Seth and I used to go with friends often. I miss that. I'm glad you went with him, I'm sure that meant a lot! I remember the first time I shot a gun with kick. I aimed it down and shot...I didn't think about my feet being right there. My dad freaked out and asked me why I just did that. I said, "I wanted to see the kick." I could have easily blown off my foot...it was a 410 shotgun! lol
Seth, I'm glad your HUGE PASSION has been realized. Too bad I wasn't there to celebrate with you guys or Lacey would of had a bruised shoulder from some of my "Gun Passions". Ha! Ha! Mike P.S I'm glad Lacey is finally over her fear of guns.
Don't get too excited Michael... I will always have a little fear of guns, I think it's healthy too! Oh and it's not the first time I've been shooting. It was one of our first dates:)
Hey Lacey! How are you? I wanted to say congrats on the little boy. That is so exciting for you guys. Our little girl is almost one and she sure is a crazy little thing!! Let me know how things are going!
Things are going good for us. I'm just doing hair and doing some bookkeeping from home. James is working full time and just started school full time so we are busy. Do you come up to Utah very often?
Welcome to the life with guns. Never trust them around kids just know how to use them. We keep all of ours locked up. Jesse has been wantin me to take hunters safety for years now and start hunting, but I just can't bring myself to do it yet. I think the smell of him and his dad and brother when they get home is enough to keep me away from the sport for at least another 7 years. All sharing the same trailer for a week with none of them showering. Yeah you get the picture. :)
omg Lacey!! Do you even remember me (Katie Borski)?? we went to fjh together and maybe high school. You went to Davis right?? I'm so glad I found your blog!! i'm gonna add your to my friends list so I can check it out more often!! You look so happy and I'm so happy for you!! Loves!!
How fun that you are having a little boy, are you way excited to adopt? You and your husband look so happy together!!! Me and my husband met about 3 years ago. His bestfriend lived in an apartment next door to mine and we became good friends and introduced us. We live in Hurricane. What about you? What have you been up to the last few years and how did you meet your husband. You look so cute!!!

Oh wow that looks like a ton of fun. Jared gave Joe a bb gun (spelling) I am not to happy about it, but oh well he was excited.
