Monday: Griffith Observatory

We've lived here three years and have been told the "Griffith Observatory" is a MUST! We finally went and we totally agree! What an amazing place. It's in the hills of LA and has the most breath-taking view I've ever seen. It was so fun to walk around with Mason. It was weird to have him not just 'sleep' through something... he's getting so old:) The place had gorgeous architecture, the museum was interesting and they even had an awsome cafe right on the cliff we ate at.
It was cool being so close to the Hollywood sign.. granted this is using my telephoto lens but still

On the roof
Mase was checkin' out the sights;)
okay.. I'll explain this picture just a little bit. Before that day I was always thought I would never be one of those moms that flips their babies cute fisherman hat up to look like a silly sailor... I just didn't like it... at all! (please no one take offense... I quickly ate my words) Now I get it. He couldn't see! AW! That's why they flip the hat up. Every time I looked at mase he was no where to been seen... his whole face was missing in the hat. I kept pushing it up, refusing to flip the hat up... then finally I gave in... & guess what... he looked adorable! So I get it now Moms, so sorry about my thoughts before:)
He might possibly be the cutest baby to ever exist!

Hubby just being funny:)
check out that view! We could see all of LA!

Seth worked very hard to get this picture... so I thought I'd post it for him. He even laid on the ground to get it... funny boy:)! I like how it turned out though
He was such a proud employee:)

This was the hallway to the cafe'

Yes, he has CHEEKS! Yes, it looks like he's storing nuts away for winter... Hence he's nickname: Squirrel!

What fun week ends you have together as a family. Mason is going to be spoiled with only amazing pictures of him.

OBVIOUSLY it is ENTIRELY too warm there and you need to come experience some depressing dreary rain. You know being trapped indoors with 3 kids cause our backyard is MUD . . . now that's what I call FUN. aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!

Lacey, not just saying this but he is really so freaking cut. He has the all time cutest face. Oh my gosh I just love his cheeks and he looks like a stud muffin with his glasses on. He is so lucky to have parents that can take him to fun things like that. I sure miss you guys and love you guys a lot. I want to go there will you take me if I ever make it out there again?
