San Francisco

My sister has almost given up on waiting for our San Fran pictures... but no worries Jam, their finally here:)

San Francisco was a blast. A family friend has a second home there and I spent many summers growing up visiting this amazing place. This is where I fell in love with watching Theater!!! It's been 6 yrs since I've been there and it was SO much fun to take my own family there and have such a memorable place to stay. This relaxing weekend was very needed, there's alot going on right now in our life and a weekend away got our minds to completely STOP and enjoy each other for four whole days. It was awsome!!! We raced around everywhere, ate delicious food, got bagels from my favorite bagel store, went to the ocean, took pictures, toured Alcatraz, shopped at Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square, walked around China Town, drove down Lombard St and spent our Sunday in at the Golden Gate National Park {BEAUTIFUL} Mase was such a trooper and went a hundred miles a minute right along with us... He just napped in his stroller when he got tired. Vacation is VERY different with a little one but so memorable:) Sad to be back to reality.. ha ha

FIRST DAY: CHINA TOWN

LOMBARD ST

Walking down to Ghirardelli Square

DOWN ON THE WHARF
FAMOUS RED TROLLEY

PIER 39
DAY TWO.. It was so fun to go back here, it's been a lot of years and they've even changed the tour a little

Me & my lil buddy

On our boat over to Alcatraz.. aren't they cute:)

Mason's first carousel ride... he wasn't to sure at first then he started "ooooo-ing" so funny

Best produce EVER
Such a fun time at the beach... yes we live by the beach but this was the first time we actually got his feet in... it was a little cold- :)

Where we stayed- Thanks Cooks:)
Golden Gate Park- this was three minutes from the house... I wish I had this in my back yard, it was even more incredible than I remember!
Gotta have the lame kissy one;)
So funny, this leaf fell right in Mase's lap from the tree and he thought he was so sneaky trying to eat it.....
thinking it was a bit dirty I tried to take it away and he was NOT having it
Little sweet potato break... yes that's a thanksgiving bib
Our last night {Golden Gate Bridge Behind Us}
We decided to drive over the bridge just for fun on our last night and as we drive our we see all of these little silouttes on the ledge and we think how great it would be to get there because of the great view you'd have of the bridge for photo's. We find our way up there and there's like 20 photographers with their tripods all set up and seemed to be waiting for something. I grab my tripod and camera and decide to set up too. I start snapping and realize no one else is... I wonder what their waiting for since we're losing light FAST.. then one photographer says... after all these years I'm gonna be able to shoot it. About two minutes later the most UNBELIEVABLE red moon comes up just behind the city horizion. Clicks from every direction just started going like crazy. I got goosebumps. I quickly adjusted my camera, got my remote out and focused in and starting shooting. I was so lucky to have brought my tripod and remote of I would have never been able to get these shots... it was almost 9:30 pm, cold, windy and very dark.. it felt so cool to be in the right place at the right time. I was one lucky girl.

So fun! Your pics are awesome as usual. My fav is the b&w of Mason looking up with that big grin, and big eyes. So adorable. And how amazing that you were there for that red moon w/ the bridge. I've never been to San Fransisco. Looks like a cool place to visit.
