Christmas Morning

Christmas is a thousand times better with kids. Christmas morning just simply never gets old with them...  Their anticipation, excitement, joy, everything! This year Seth & I were especially excited because Santa was surprising the kids with a trip to Disneyland.  While Mason's birth family was here for his baptism they invited us to come visit and after we thought about it we decided to take them up and it and make it a fun family vacation. We had kept it under wraps for months and Christmas morning finally came!!! After they had dug through their stockings and opened their gifts the kids found a letter from Santa saying he had left a special surprise in the fireplace... A golden box.  It was so funny to see them open it up and hold up Disney shirts and still not have it click! We told Mason to  read the ticket and it finally clicked! Watching them explode in happiness was the best. I wish I could put the video in this book.  I sure love my family!

This year Christmas landed on a Sunday which as a kid I hated but as an adult it was awesome. I loved being able to worship my Savior on this special day!

Christmas Eve

We got to spend Christmas Eve with Stephen and Debbie which was so fun for us especially with them moving to Washington soon. We went out to eat at a restaurant called Uncle Julio's then out to see the movie "SING" (it wasn't our favorite) then back to house to exchange gifts and visit. It was an awesome evening and we've loved having them here our first year in Texas.
