2 WEEKS OLD... TODAY

Can you believe my little miracle man is already two weeks old?!?!? Well it actually seems like much longer. Seth and I can't believe we've only had him for a week and a half, it seems like he's been apart of our family forever! I just love spending everyday with him. Seth's first day back to work was yesterday and I was a little nervous... Oh dear... time to be a mom... can I do it? Well I did & I can... & I absolutely loved it. Even when I was up with him the whole night before because he's not liking his formula and wanted to be held, even when I had the guts to bathe him by myself, then as soon as I had him clean and all dressed he messed in his diaper while throwing up, YES, double duty, quite talented I know... I didn't get to eat breakfast until one in the afternoon let alone pee or take a shower for the matter (i know, I know welcome to motherhood)... and again YES I loved it. I've been just waiting to be this in love where being peed on didn't matter, where I didn't matter anymore. I just LOVE him.

Hi Lacey, This is Dayna Amee's sister-in-law. I hope you remember me from the high school years and what not. I found you through Amee's blog and I have been watching you while you have worked on getting your little guy and I am so happy for you that he is finally in your arms. I am having one of my own in December and I can not hardly wait. I know you understand the waiting game because it sounds like you have doing it for years. Good luck with everything and checkout my blog;)

You are such a great mom! My feelings with Zach were very similar after all the losses. I enjoyed every filthy, sleep-deprived minute. I only wish I could say the same about the twins. I am so happy for you!

Hey lacy.. congrats again to becoming a mom. your son is really cute, and i love the fun photography that you have. :D Wish i was a little more talented in that area. :D
Just an FYI: there is a book out called "baby wise". I dont know if you have heard of it, but it is amazing! It helps you to teach your baby how to be on a schedule and helps them to sleep through the night... which in return.. YOU sleep at night. So check it out. It's god's gift to woman of the world. :D
