We've been so blessed and feel so supported through this adoption. The emails, calls, blog comments have all made us feel really loved. So a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you. Really, adoption is different for some people but everyone we love has made his birth so special. Our good friends have helped out when we really needed it. Kristen (whose hubby is gone for 3 wks and has two kids) found the time to make us a FABULOUS dinner the night we came home from the hospital, along with a bag of gifts for Mason, one being this beautiful handmade blanket, and a bag a goodies for the new parents. We were beyond touched and again felt the Lord working in our lives through the service of good friends. I only wish I would have gotten a picture of all the cute stuff Kristen brought us however it was a LONG day and we ate it far too quickly, by the time I thought of a picture, the the non-eatable things were left:) And then my good friend Katy brought us an awsome meal the night my mom left. Talk about full service... main course, bread, salad and dessert. My service meals need to be kicked up a notch;) Really though it's meant the world to us and come on just the perfect nights. We're so blessed with good friends. Also Sis. Whitsides from our ward came over Sunday and brought us the prettiest bouquet ever on behalf of our ward, congratulating us. We've felt very, very loved. Thanks everyone.

I'm so glad you are being taken care of. What a blessing it is to have a church family wherever you go. We can't help being so far away, but the Lord still works through others as we pray for you:-)
Sorry for my late post...But congrats! I saw the pictures on Facebook and he is gorgeous! :)
You guys look so happy!!!! Mason is adorable and your family pictures are precious!!!!
Hi, you don't know me but i'm a friend of Dallas' and i married Derek Christiansen. I'm kind of a blog hopper and came upon your page. I noticed you guys just had a beautiful baby boy and then noticed you adopted!
I just had to tell you how AWESOME you two are! I am a birth-mom to a little boy as well who just turned 5! I don't know what your relationship with this little boys birth mom is but it sounds like you are all pretty close! Always remember throughout the next weeks, months.. sometimes years that this is right and that Heavenly Father and Christ led him to you. the birth-mom will probably have some hard times and sometimes you'll probably know it. Reassure her that the decision she made was with help from our Lord and Savoir and that she can be helped through all of this!
I am still in contact with my family (or his family) and I feel so lucky that they were brought into my life and to their little boys!
I can't tell you the impact you'll have on so many lives by taking that little boy into your home! CONGRATS and thank you for being the kind of people that are heroes to so many girls around the world!
Your family picutres are adorable! I can't even explain how happy we are for you. WE just love Mason to pieces and can't wait to meet him next month! What a handsome little guy he is.
