Girls Day/Wedding Day

Tuesday was Wedding Day for Smokey and Miss Becky's Son Kyle and his beautiful bride Delyn. They were over everyday with their three kids so we got to know them very well. Especially little Garrett. I fell in love with that 6 yr old boy. He wrote me the sweetest letter and asked me to marry him. ha ha. I wish I could have brought him home... well, maybe...he had quite the energy! :} Us girls spent the day with Delyn and her beautiful daughter Victoria going out to lunch & getting our nails done... while the men were home cooking "Cochon de Lait" aka a freaking PIG. Not bacon or pork chops. An ENTIRE pig on a stick, over the fire, apple and all!!! WOW! That was a first. They told me "Miss Lacey, we don't believe in no cake and punch down here, we gonna eat us some hog" ... and we did. Guess what...little piggy was quite good:)It was such a cool new experience:) i just wish I hadn't walked into the kitchen when the boys were 'preparing' it. Almost lost my breakfast.

Random picture.. but this is what I was doing while they were roasting the piggy

Ok so that pig picture has to go!!! UGH I can't even watch that, that is so gross! NO disrespect to Miss Beacky and...umm shoot forgot his name but my stomach can't handle that Lac. I love the pic with you and mas on the swing, you need to frame that one. I am so happy you went, Becky and ummm sound like amazing people. I am so glad you got to see where Seth grew up, Todd bad todd's home town in not as amazing I am terrified for my life when I step foot on his old HS. Lets just say I am so much a minority there, and I feel so unsafe! Makes you want to travel more and see what other places are like and experience other peoples way of life, well not when you have children traveling is not to fun. Lets get our kids up and raised than go travel, wouldn't that be so fun?
