Danyka Came To PLAY:)

Seth's cousin Dave and his wife Nyree, who are also are very good friends were in Newport Beach for Vacation and they drove up to see us on Friday. It was SO good to see them... We went out to eat at yummy Niko's and then went back to our place to hang out! Danee is an absolute doll! We loved every second with her. Mase and her became quite the good buddies. As soon as Mase woke up Danee insisted on holding him, it was SO cute. She got so excited to sit by him in his room:) Thanks for coming you three:) Can't wait to see you in a month!
{She didn't like that seth was making her stop to take a picture.. ha ha}

Who knows where I can find WhItE?

I've looked from here to China (seriously just about) to find a white outfit I like for Mason's blessing and sealing day... I wish more than anything I was extremely crafty and could sew him one but let's be honest.. it would be a disaster! I've checked all the LDS websites I can find and there either pretty expensive or I don't really like the style. I'm not so into the decked out tux or bow-tie (truly no offense, it just doesn't fit Mason's personality) I would love something simple, comfortable and cute. Any suggestions? Did you find your kids special outfit somewhere neat? Or are you an amazing sewer and want crack one out for me in a matter of a few weeks and not charge me a million dollars? ha ha.. I'm sure they'll be many takers:) No really though, if you know of somewhere I should look please let me know:) Thank you!

Guess he was hungery:)

This kid loves to chew on his blanket, bibs, burp rag... anything cloth he can get his hands onto. Even if he has just eaten and is completely full he will find something to CHEW on! This is how I found him yesterday when i went to get him from his nap... silly boy!
I just adore him:)

Court Date: CHECK!!!!

I can't believe I haven't posted about this yet... WE GOT OUR COURT DATE!!! there's just so much going on right now, things got a bit crowded this week. Anyway it came SOOO much sooner than we expected! We've had to do alot of running around with the court, so when I went to turn my last set of paperwork in on Monday the last thing I expected was for them to not tell me I did something wrong and they need yet another form but to accept everything, stamp it and schedule me for court right there on the spot. I got tears in my eyes as she asked me what weekend worked good for me. We choose the next available date possible which is APRIL 17th!!!! I had so many emotions. I was completely exhausted from the events earlier that morning, I just wanted to be home with my family... then the Lord allowed me a tiny taste of heaven: the light at the end of the tunnel... at last! The court date will FINALIZE everything legally! He will be legally and physically ours which gives us the GO to have him become 'spiritually' ours by being able to bless him and have him sealed to us... something we've been looking forward to for a very long, long time. Now if we could just find a day that worked:( It's been so stressful the last couple of days. For nearly a month after the court date the weekends don't work... important family members being out of town, sister's pre-planned cruise and a family wedding! What are the odds people!!! It finally happens and now we still have to wait! ha ha. I guess all good things take time:) Some days we just think, oh dear lets just do it here with just us three as soon as the court date comes... but we both know we'd like to do it in Utah where we can be surrounded by our family and closest friends. We're torn because we have such amazing friends here as well that we would like to share this with... It just came down to knowing our entire family would not be able to travel here for it due to the economy and we really would like to be sealed as a family where we were sealed as a couple: Salt Lake Temple. We were even planning to do it on our 5 yr anniversary, May 29th but I'm shooting a wedding in Redlands, CA that weekend (wish me luck;), so that doesn't work either! We're so excited though. I can't wait to go to the temple and have him blessed surrounded by as many family members as can make it:) We already feel like he is OURS so we know working the details out is worth waiting for... Stay tuned for the date:)

HeLp!!!

We've have been so blessed, for the most part Mason has been sleeping through the night since around two months old (except when he's sick, etc) ... However the last FOUR nights he's gotten up at 3:30 AM on the dot a cried and cried. We've tried to let him put himself back down but he won't... he cried for a whole hour and half until we feed him one morning. We realized he might be going through a growth sput, so we bumped up his formula and started rice formula during the day. STILL NOT WORKING!!! Help any advice?

Can't wait to meet you little one!

Chezney Reagan Anderson made her grand day debut just a few minutes ago!! I'm so excited. My mom just called and said Chelly did AMAZING! I was so excited I don't remember the measurements but I'm sure Chelly will have them up soon. A huge bummer about living out of state is I have to wait to meet the little one.. Good job Chelly, I LOVE YOU and I can't wait to meet you Chezney!

So many FIRSTS this weekend!

First rolling over and then trying rice cereal... both a success!
He did so good. He got the eating motion down really well halfway through! Such a smart little guy:)

Sunday Evening= SuNSeT

What better to do on a Sunday evening than take a little stroll down to the beach and watch the sunset?! Felt so good & relaxing... until I got my camera all set up, took these three photo's and then my battery died. For the love!!! Oh well.. I went back to relaxing with my boys... and the million stray cats down there. I'm not gonna lie they kinda freak me out. I'll take pictures of them next time...

Woot! Woot!

My baby ROLLED OVER just now! I'm having a heart attack! I'm so proud of him!!! I started screaming and smothering him with kisses all over his tummy, he was laughing so hard:) Oh my goodness! This is just not any roll over... we've been working on it for two months now. A lot of babies roll over way earlier however Mason because of his sensitive stomach has always had a hard time with tummy time (he would throw up) so we had to do it later on and slowly. But for two months now we've spent alot of time working with him to get through even 5 mins without him screaming his head off. People who have been around Mase know he's an extremely happy baby. If you saw him in the beginning with tummy time you wouldn't think it was the same baby but he's been getting better and better and TODAY just NOW he rolled over all by himself. I'm seriously in tears... corny I know, but I'm just SOOO proud of my squirrel!!!!

Family Visits are SiMpLy the BEST

My mom's been planning to come out here for a couple of months now and the day she was flying out my sister Jamyee did something very unlike her and spontaneously jumped aboard. She bought a plane ticket for her and Mya to fly out the next morning. It was very last minute but it turned out to be SO MUCH FUN! I cried when they left. hard. It was so cool for us to have family visit, we've really been missing them. We have great friends but there's just something about FaMiLy! We were able to do alot while they were here: Griffith Observatory, shop @ the Farmers Market, Cabrillo Aquarium, walks down by the beach & lunch at Rex's:) It was so fun having one of Mason's cousins out here, we just adore Mya, she was our pure entertainment all weekend long. I always love being with my mom, it just feels like mom when I'm with her and well Jaymee... I always have a good and hilarious time with her. It always results in laughing so hard you cry or in her prego case 'wet your self' ha ha. We did Griffith the first day and had a great time exploring the museum and view... then my mom see's a dirt path and mentions we should walk a little ways up the hill... right then I knew what we were in for. For those of you that know my mom know that is NO such thing as 'little ways' on anything that resembles a dirt path. I told my mom "it's no walk mom, it's goes clear to the top of the mountain" she again said "oh we'll just go a little ways"... I looked at my 6 month pregnant sister, a 2 yr old in the stroller and thought here we go to the top my friends.. I then handed my 19lb baby to my husband to carry in the 'Baby Bjorn' cause I knew there was just no way. Needless to say our suspicions were right, we went to the top and actually had the funniest time doing so, even though jam almost gave birth to Marlee near the top.. ha ha.. It was straight up people and we had two babies, a diaper bag and a my heavy camera bag. What's even sadder is my 57 yr old mom pushed the stroller 99% of the time, the other 1% was Jamyee hence the almost giving birth:) Oh dear, we had so much fun. It was absolutely beautiful (Seth & I can't wait to do it again), the view at the top was amazing and even along the way was breath-taking, so green, you almost forget your in Cali for a minute! Anyways we had so much fun playing on the beach, going the movies, shopping at the Farmers Market, Jamie stealing all of the strawberries so their was none left for the dessert, watch Mya play with Mase, putting on 'whopper' lipstick... and everything else in-between! I'm so grateful they took the time to come out. We truly LOVED having them here. I really do love my family more than anything. We miss living close to them. Hopefully we can again SOON:)
Griffith Observatory

Mya just checkin' things out

Halfway to the top!!! This was our pit stop:)

View of Griffith Observatory from our hike

So we got a little bored along the way;)

Me & Mase at the TOP!!!
Us at the TOP!!! YAY WE MADE IT:)
She was being so funny. I pulled my camera out and when I said "smile" she would bend over like this... it was hilarious!
Mase was thinking Mya's poses were pretty weird.. ha ha
Then she switched to doin' this... oh dear she quite the entertainment
Sunday evening we went to watch the "water show" down on the port. It was pretty cool.

Amaiya was like death grabbing that bear, I think the water and music scared her

It was windy so we kept the little man bundled up in his stroller

One of our walks down by the beach... so basically mya liked the parking lot more than the beach. So Funny!
Again.. this girl just had us laughing. I can't even explain what she was doing. She had all this funny things she would do while eating. Trust me though, it was good!

We were trying to teach my mom facebook! That was even funnier than Mya.. ha ha jk
Just call me Martha Stewart! jk. I have been making homemade angel food cake though:) It's my favorite!
One of the many mornings where we played on my bed
We let Mya have Mason crib so we put Mason in with us and she loved to come in and wake him up everymorning! It was so cute:)
Exploring!

Day at the Aquarium

Telling him all about the fishy's!

Mya got tired so we gave her a lift

So pooped after all the sight seeing!
Neither looked too thrilled to be back that shark! ha ha
