i know how lucky i am

i'm not one of those people that believes there is only one person in this world for you, only one person that is meant for you, only one person you could be happy with.

 i just don't.
 i never have.

i loved before seth and knew if i would have taken that road i could have been happy...

 however i do believe their is such a thing as a soul mate.

and i know without a doubt i'm with mine for eternity.

i consider myself so lucky to have found not only love at 18 but my soul mate.
 i'm grateful i slowed down and realized what i was feeling...
realized this one was different.

i'm grateful he felt the same way.

i'm so full of gratitude that i choose this path, this life, this love...
that i choose him.

 although seth is not my first love he is my last love and my deepest by far.
no one fits at my side more than he does.
he is my outline.

he has stood by me through more things then most people experience in 40 yrs of marriage,
he has carried me when things simply got too hard,
he has lead me by the hand when i couldn't see the road ahead,
he has always love me for me, all of me. he has never, ever asked or even hinted that I change.
he has never looked back, even when i've glanced.
he has never resented me for not being able to give him a 'normal' family,
instead he has loved me through the hard parts,
 embraced the journey its given us and explored the future it has allowed us to experience with a smile

and knows just as much and as deep as i do,
how lucky we are to have been blessed with this road

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

 some people think they find it and sadly it eventually falls away, some people never find it....
honestly i never realized how very lucky i am to have what i have and to have found it as early as i did.

and more than anything i'm grateful when i decided to trust this and jump in with both feet, he was right there and not only has never left but knew from day one he never wanted to let go either.

it's the real deal

i am so very lucky blessed

{tea party}

For my niece Taelyn's birthday we had mini tea party for her. Nothing big but it was still super cute! Surprisingly Mason got very into it.... probably because there was food and he got to wear a cool hat:) Tae's eyes were so big and she couldn't believe all of this was for her! She is such a doll and I couldn't love her more! We wanted everything to be mini, so I took on the task of the mini cupcakes... I wasn't sure how to decorate them since I really haven't had to do anything girly, but I think they turned out cute! As you can see by the picture Seth was the server for the day... such a good sport:) The whole afternoon was so fun and I really love being so close to my nieces and nephews,  I wouldn't trade it for the world!

{Aiden wasn't in to the tea party too much so he basically played with ziggy the entire time:}

{celebrate}

I got to celebrate this cute girls birthday with her! We had a girls day with her mama and grandma:) It was the perfect day!  She was the first of the grandkids in our family and it's INSANE that she's NINE!!! Between now and then 15 more have followed her:) I'll never forget holding her for the first time. She captivated all of us! I love you Rylee Kay Taylor, I'm so proud to be your Aunt!

{lights}

The lights at Temple Square always a tradition in my family going up and for some reason the last yr or two have gotten away from me?!  However after our niece's tea party in Salt Lake (post coming soon:) just after Christmas we were able head down with my mom and sister Cass and her kiddos:) The weather was perfect and the boys LOVED it!

Christmas Morning/Day

Christmas was so laid back and chill this year! I really enjoyed just being with my family! We woke up at home with my mom, opened gifts, had breakfast, went to church and then went to spend the day at my sisters with the rest of our family! It was a perfect day! I loved Christmas being on a Sunday so we could have that sweet hour of what it's all really about. As always kids make Christmas so much more fun! The boys were so cute and were so bright eyed with absolutely every gift!
