Birthday Boy

Happy 4th Birthday Aiden

I can't believe my little buddy turned 4 this month! He is as feisty as ever. He just finished his first year of preschool yesterday. It's been so good for him. He's made friends and learned so much. As I mentioned he's feisty so I think him having to listen and respect other adults has helped too. He's not too much into reading books or bug hunting like his big brother but he loves to play outside and ride his Diego bike or draw with sidewalk chalk. He LOVES anything to do with cars, planes or trains. He plays them for HOURS! This last 6 months he's developed quite a distaste for dinner... no matter what we're eating "he doesn't like it." It has be super frustrating but honestly that's just Aiden, he makes things hard. However the kid melts my heart in seconds. When he wants to he is so tender and sweet. He's very genuine and doesn't like it if he's hurt someone. He's smart and lights up when he accomplish something new or hard.  He has a hard time trying new things or things he doesn't think he can do however the other day Grandma Cookie took us to some play jungle place and they had a roller coaster that was for big kids and it went super fast. He asked to ride it and I told him "NO WAY" I was sure he would cause a HUGE scene once it started moving. He begged, which was surprising to me that he even thought he wanted to ride it. Cookie told me to just let him so very reluctantly I let him and the child LOVED IT! He rode it 11 times ALONE! I seriously was speechless. This kid surprises me sometimes. I'm almost sure on something and he does the complete opposite. He keeps me on my toes and I love him. My favorite time with him is playing with him in his bed at night. It such a sweet and soft time with him. He's so stinkin' funny and cute! I love to tickle him til he explodes in laughter, especially because he tries to resist it most of the time!

Feisty or not I couldn't imagine my life without him.

I love and adore every ounce of him.

Happy Birthday Aiden Michael McVea
