It's funny how my kids time being sick right when we have ALOT to do! haha. Mason starting getting sick around Wednesday, by Thursday morning he had just gotten worse so I took him in hoping I could get him on some meds and he'd improve before the weekend (wishful thinking I know) because Friday I had a newborn shoot, then we were going to Grandma Cookies for a sleepover with Mason's cousins, skydive Saturday morning, attend sweet Sophia's birthday party on our way home, help out with Seth's parent's "Breakfast for Dinner" mission farwell get-to-together, sleep over there with all the aunts, then go to their farwell Sunday Morning... Packed right?! yeah so basically Mason didn't get better, infact he decided to share with his brother so everything that had little kids in attendence got canceled so we wouldn't spread the wealth;) So sad! (skydiving the weather was bad in Ogden so it got moved to this upcoming Saturday:) That's life with kids though. They are slowly improving, I think?! Summer colds and ear infections are NO FUN!
On a good note, I just got "Mockingjay" from the library.... I hope it doesn't disapoint!!!

Love these two!
i seriously adore my boys! do the frustrate me? Yes! Do I think it was a wee bit crazy to get them 19 months apart? Just a little bit! Would I change a thing? Nada! Look how stinkin cute they are. On a personal note last night while Seth and I were talking in bed we got into the disscussion of if we'd ever go down the road of getting pregnant again? It was a weird topic. One that used to consume ourlives but that has rarely been brought up in the last three years. We laughed, cried and were very open. To be down right honest, I'm scared to get pregnant now (not that I think it's even a possibility) i love my boys so much I genuinally don't think I could make a child like them. is that weird? We talked about maybe feeling guilty if we even wanted to get pregnant, like adoption wasn't good enough, but BELIVE ME it wouldn't be like that at all, adoption was more than good enough. That sounds weird. Maybe that's why it's so crazy in my head. I think pregnancy and adoption aren't even connected. weird, i know. but to me adoption is my family, my amazing meant to be family. pregnancy is a role as a women that lingers in my heart, somedays, and honestly not somedays. I am 100% fullfilled by my family. I guess it's just something that I see everywhere and wonder what it would be like. Now that I've adopted it's almost scary to attempt both ways. I know families that have experienced both and I believe my heart would love equally, well I know it would. it's how my heart works. I guess the real thing that holds me back is not ever really sure i want to open up that door again. It was a hard 5 years. that time shaped me as a women, person, wife and mom, more than any other time in my life. not that i'd every really want to experience that kind of lesson/experience again... it came with pain and frustration that is hard to comprehend. I learned who i was, what i could handle and what i couldn't. What really mattered. Who my true friends and family were. That I had a husband that wasn't going anywhere when things got tough. That the family that was waiting for me was meant to be, that things do NOT happen by chance, there are desinged by God. I was brought to my knees for a long time, at my weakness point my faith was strengthen. I wasn't given what I wanted, when i wanted or even how i thought i wanted it. I didn't even get it after I learned what i was supposed to learn. ha ha. I had to life my life and be okay with it, I had to grow up, become my husbands true best friend and companion, I had to have faith even when I realized things may not go my way. I cried, ached, then followed the spirit. When the time was right, it lead me to him....
& then when the time was right again to him...
To say I am blessed is an understatement. When I got the feeling all growing up that I would be a mom to a child that I didn't give birth too, i had NO clue it would be to more than one and lead me to this journey I'm on now. I had no clue it would be the way I wanted to be a mom 100% and if given the choice it's what I would choosen {personally i do think I had the choice in heaven which is why i got blessed with this journey}. I had no clue that they really are mine in everyway so whether they come from my stomache or heart.. they are still 'mine'. So will I ever try to get pregnant again? I honestly don't know, but I truly don't care. I will do what I did to start my family to continue my family and that's listen to the spirit. If I'm told to adopt, I will, if I'm prompted to trying the ever so fun thing of trying to get pregnant I will. Cause either way it will be my child coming to me. I know that. It's simply the transportion they prefer!
I have no idea where this post came from... maybe I've been on the computer too long or maybe it's the endelss stream of comments I get about my family and how it was made. I actually got an FB message from someone starting out "So I hope this isn't rude, I'm just curious. What's wrong with you? Why can't you have kids? When did you find out? That would be so hard! Do you feel like their 'yours'? Do you see their real parents? How much did they cost? I think it's real big of you to do something like this! How did you find out you couldnt' have kids? When did you find out? I have three children so I just can't imgaine!" ... end of message. NO JOKE! First I sat there in disbelief. Tears stung my eyes then I started to laugh. I had SOOOOOOOO many things I wanted to right back but I took a deep breath and choose not too. I couldn't even dignify the message with a response. I have absolutely no problem sharing my story when the atmosphere and pure intentions are there, I believe it's amazing piece to the journey, however to invade, misconstrue, and degrade the beauty of my family is another thing. Some people just don't get it and never will. And I've gotten to the point that, that's okay. There are so many aspects of life I don't understand, but I respect them. I'm okay with who I am and who my family is.
So in the nicest way possible (sincerely) These are MY BOYS and I AM their REAL MOM!
Thank You
There are some people who totally get us. Get the beauty. The journey. The design. The Love. And get that we're no big deal, we're just a family.
To you: Thank You from my family to yours
Family Time {Random}
Here's some random "shots" from our summer! I adore my little family!
Aiden and his new cousin Trey. Their only 3 months apart! I'm so excited Aiden has a boy cousin by him. Silly, but this picture is a dream come true. I always wanted to have kids right along my sibling so our kiddos could be buddies. I never thought it would be a problem since I got married young, even a few years before one of my sisters.. however life took place and everyone was having babies together and alot of them, haha, and I still wasn't. They were close to finishing their families and I hadn't even started. I got blessed with Mason who is a stud, but is surrounded by girls in all the families, haha. Then Jamie got pregnant with Trey (her last child) and I remember thinking, oh man! Oh well. I'm just glad to get blessed with kids when it's right:) Then near the end of her pregnancy Aiden surprises us!!! Both little boys! I cried. Silly I know, but like I said it's a little dream come true!

Toquerville Trip
We decided before summer ends and Seth has to go back to school we would take a little family trip down to see my mom in Toquerville:) Two of Seth's sister joined us down there and we had SOOO much fun. Our trips down there are usually packed with four wheeler rides, a trip to the falls, hikes and bbq's... this time was no different and Aiden hung in there like champ. Along with the outdoors fun we had just as much fun indoors.. We got a bizzard nearly everyday (i'd like to blame it on the heat, but frankly when I'm down there in the winter I get just as many), saw Inception {Weird! But Awsome} & played games! It certainly a well needed trip! Thanks for coming with us Lilley and Missy & THANK YOU for the AWSOME time Ma:)

Yes, that's Mason jumping off the falls with his Uncle Jer. Crazy! Absolutely. No I didn't lose my mind completely. We've had been there a few times now and Mason literally wouldn't stay away from the cliff. He kept seeing everybody jump off and was fansinated with the edge. He would spend the whole time trying to get around me... so I spent the whole trying chasing him. No fun for either of us! It got scary to where I couldn't look away or he dart of the edge so after our third trip I finally said "ok you want to go off, lets do it the safest way!" I give him to one of the people I trust the most in crazy situations and that was my big brother. They got right to the edge and Mason still wanted to jump so they did. He panicked coming up out the water but as soon as he made it to dad who was waiting in the water down below he was fine. I jumped in after and he came to me and just kept saying Whoa! and pointing to the falls. It stopped my heart a bit so I decided that would be his only jump, which worked out great because he was no longer fasinated with the edge:)
