This year Aiden was finally old enough to play T-ball and even better Mason and Aiden got to be on the same team! It so fun to see how much Mason has grown since last year and also to watch Aiden experience some so new! They both were such good sports every game! I'm super proud of them!

4th of July
4th of July
Strawberry Lake with The McVea's
This year for the 4th ALL the McVea's were in town so we spent the whole weekend with them. We rarely ever get to see Sarah and her family especially with Josh and Crystal in town! It was so fun to have everyone. On the 4th we went crawdad fishing up at Strawberry Lake. The McVea family loooves to go catch crawdads, then have a big boil and eat them. Honestly the thought and sight makes me wanna puke but it's a tradition for them so I just go enjoy the scenery:) It was so fun to have everyone together. I'm so blessed to have these lovely people as my second family!
Anniversary Getaway
10 Year Anniversary
St. George Weekend
Just the two of us
For our ten year anniversary Seth and I got to sneak away without the kids to St. George for 5 days! We stayed in a family members condo and just got to relax. We went a month after our anniversary so it actually landed on my birthday with for it was sort of a celebrate two for one:) The weather was amazing and the time alone was so needed. The night we got there we were able to eat at Anasazi Grill. Cookie and Bill had given us a gift certificate there and told us we'd love it and oh boy did we! Best steak house I've ever been to. You cook your meat at the table on a hot stone. It was so fun. The atmosphere was great and there was also an amazing cheese fondue dip with veggies we got. YUM!!!! Then for my birthday Seth had made reservations for The River-walk Grill which is a county club restaurant. When we first walked in I thought we were in trouble. It was country-club looking and we were the youngest by 30 years.... However they seated us at a table that had the most beautiful view of the golf course and then we met our waiter... he was amazing. He recommended some good and we went for it. I got the Chilean Sea Bass and well I could have very well licked my plate! It was single handedly one of the best things I've ever eaten. The presentation of everything was incredible and just added to the experience. The chef come out and we were able to talk with him. Then Seth had them send out a birthday treat for me! The whole evening was awesome... can you tell our getaways revolve around good food?! We also lounged around the pool, went to a movie, did some shopping for Seth's new job and spent a day in Zion's with my mom. We decided we really wanted to take advantage of not having the kids, so we did something we haven't been able to do with them and something I haven't done since High School. We biked Zion's. It was so incredibly beautiful! The ride was amazing. Cycling is one of the only things that make me feel absolutely FREE! I love it! I enjoyed every moment! It was one of the highlights of our weekend:) It was so neat to do with my mom especially since she's had such bad health this last year. She was awesome on the bike. It was so good to see her ride again!
The whole weekend was amazing. We were excited to get back to our kids though. We missed them like crazy! I can't believe we've been married ten years. This last year has been one of our hardest but our family is worth the work! Ten years says alot!
